Make the Gators vs. Seminoles Game Your First after Moving to Jacksonville

The third Saturday in November marks the annual game that everyone in northern Florida will be tuning into – the Gators vs. Seminoles game.

If you have recently relocated to Jacksonville, you may not know about the epic grudge match that takes place between the University of Florida Gators and the Florida State University Seminoles each year. November 28th will mark the 60th annual grudge match between the rival universities and will be the most epic tailgating, barbecuing, and football event in north Florida this holiday season.

The Jacksonville movers at All My Sons Moving & Storage urge new residents to catch a football party a new neighbors’ house, throw your own, or purchase tickets and tailgate to really get in on all of the action following Thanksgiving.

The Seminoles have won the last two meetings and four of five under coach Him Fisher, but the last time that both teams had been having such a great year as they have this season, the Gators took victory over the Seminoles, winning 37-20 in Tallahassee.

Gators coach Jim McElwain says that he keeps his team focused on being able to figure out what is going on and how to maneuver through everything that comes in their path.

“The art of winning is hard, guys,’’ he said after the game. “It is hard. I don’t care who you are. You understand how hard winning is and figuring out how to win. And that’s really what I like about our guys. There is never any panic. They play in the moment.”

The art of winning is not difficult for Jacksonville movers, as they have been moving families in and out of the area for over 25 years, perfecting moving with each maneuver that has been thrown their way as well. If you are moving to Jacksonville, this is one college football game that you will not want to miss, as the epic 60 year grudge match is the talk of the town every year.
