If you are moving to Jacksonville in the near future, it will be even easier for you and your family to get away on a relaxing vacation. Allegiant Travel Company, a leisure travel company that provides travel services and products, has announced they will be adding three new direct flights from Jacksonville International Airport to New Orleans, Richmond and Memphis.
Direct flights to New Orleans will begin on April 14, while flights directly to Richmond, Virginia and Memphis Tennessee will be offered on April 15.
All My Sons Moving & Storage of Jacksonville has learned that analysts at Allegiant Travel Company have been studying travel patterns of those flying out of Jacksonville International Airport and have determined that residents would benefit from these direct flights being added to the airport’s schedule.
“We had demand for those flights to New Orleans, Memphis and Richmond and we took the opportunity to fill that demand. With the economic climate as good as it is, we decided to launch them starting in spring,” said public relations specialist for Allegiant Travel Company, Stephanie Pilecki.
With the addition of the new direct flights, you may want to consider planning a fun, easy trip to New Orleans to unwind from your move to Jacksonville. Direct flights to New Orleans will be offered year-round and take place on Thursdays and Sundays, twice a day.
Pilecki said Allegiant Travel Company is doing everything they can to make these new routes as successful as possible, so they will have the opportunity to add even more direct flights from Jacksonville to various cities in the United States.
