Producers of Small Town Big Deal are currently planning an episode that will feature the best small-town shopping in America and due to what many believe to be social media boosterism, Jacksonville may be the town this show is spotlighting.

Locals have taken to social media platforms, such as Facebook, to encourage their friends to vote for Jacksonville as the next Small Town Big Deal online.

This is good news if you’re planning on moving to Jacksonville, as the popular show has the ability of shedding positive light on small towns and eventually bringing money into these areas.

As stated by executive director of the Jacksonville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, “All this brings money into the Jacksonville community and makes us a more thriving locale.
