Destination: Dino at the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens, March 5th-6th – Come celebrate the grand opening of Destination: Dino for the opportunity to see 25 life-like dinosaurs in the Jacksonville Zoo & Garden’s newest exhibit. If you’re interested in becoming a member of the zoo after moving to Jacksonville, admission will cost $3.50. For non-members, tickets are $4.00.
Top to Bottom Walking Tour, every Tuesday and Thursday – If you’re interested in getting a sense of your new town, our local Jacksonville movers suggest going on the “Top to Bottom” Walking Tour in Downtown Jacksonville. The two-hour tour begins at 10 a.m. at Jacksonville Landing and includes stops at several different historical landmarks. On Tuesdays, the walking tour is focused more on history, while Thursdays’ tours are more local art and culture based.
Jax Beach Classic Car Cruise, March 15th – Come enjoy a beautiful day at the beach while admiring some of the most classic cars in town at the Jax Beach Classic Car Cruise. Held at the Sea Walk Pavilion, this family-friendly event starts at 5 p.m. and runs until 8:30 p.m.
St. Patty’s Day Celebration at Jacksonville Landing, March 17th – Join the St. Patty’s Day festivities after moving to Jacksonville and head over to Jacksonville Landing for what is sure to be the largest party around. There will be live music, dancing, authentic Irish food and, of course, green beer! The party begins at 4 p.m.
