3 Tips For A Stress Free Move

 

Moving can be a stressful experience. We at Jacksonville Movers understand this and do everything to make it as easy as possible. Here are 3 tips to help with moving day stress.

Decide in advance where most of big furniture pieces will go. Take full advantage of our great team at Jacksonville Movers being able to easily lift heavy pieces of furniture into place. It can be difficult to move them by yourself later.  You will feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day if your new home seems organized. Putting furniture in place can create more space.

If possible, schedule your move mid-week. There is less demand for movers during the week. You will have more flexibility to schedule a convenient time and get things moved when planned. If you live in an apartment building, you will not be competing with other tenants who may want to use the elevator.

Finish the move in one day, even if the new home is near-by. It may be tempting to leave last minute items such as toiletries and say “I’ll be back for that later.” In reality, once you have moved out, going back to pick up odds and ends will not be that appealing. It is much better to get it done in a day.

With a little planning, some of the stress of moving day will disappear.
